I have had inceased pressure from my family recently with regard to my efforts to help other people. In a nutshell they feel the time has come for me to divert my efforts to support them instead. I have agreed to this as they have suffered badly over the years and I now feel the time has come for me to concentrate my efforts on them.

To this end I have issued a Statement on my Facebook.

This will have no effect on the Hollie Greig campaign other then my not doing any further broadcasts on it. I have notified both Anne and Robert Green of my resignation as Co-ordinator of SACL and my intention to take more of a back seat in the HG campaign. They quite understand my position and I have also assured them of my full continuing support for them and the HG campaign in an advisory capacity.

Robert has informed me that he will be happy to do a broadcast with you next Tuesday (ie 25th May). I hope you can find someone to take my place to-morrow, Tuesday 18th May.

My final talk on the HG case for the time being anyway will be in Fife on Saturday in the place of Brian Gerrish of the UK Column in a "Wake Up" call conference. This had been arranged quite sometime ago.

Paul you have been a star to the HG campaign and are a great power for good in the world and as such you have every reason to be proud of yourself.

Hollie Greig, Robert Green and Vote Fraud:

When Robert Green announced his intent to run for Parliament, he was arrested and thrown into jail for 3 days. When he sought to gather the necessary signatures on his petition, he was arrested and thrown into jail again. This time, "Hollie's Army" sprung into action and melted the phone lines at the Grampian police station with thousands of calls demanding his release.

He was released. They dropped him off and let him fend for himself. Fortunately, he was able to get a hold of his good friend Stuart Usher, who tended to his needs. Stuart Usher is another hero in the Hollie saga. As a child, he watched as crooked lawyers destroyed the once powerful "Usher dynasty" in Scotland. Born as an aristocrat, he now sells hamburgers at his roadside stand while managing to lead the charge for Hollie Greig.

Then there is John Taylor, who at great jeopardy to his personal safety, led the team of volunteers that spread the word about Hollie Greig in Aberdeen's pubs, byways and public places. 15,000 pieces of literature were delivered; posters went up around the city; and Awareness of Hollie Greig's story went from zero to 40%, in a city that boasts 210,400 people.

No campaign can survive without financial support. George McKendrick dug into his own pockets and provided moving billboards and other materials without any desire for recognition, praise or compensation.

John Taylor: "Expect Trouble"

I have just been informed that the delivery firm have collected our flyers and that 15,000 will be posted through letter boxes today.

The timing could not be better as it co-incides with the news that the Crown Office are not pressing charges against a Grampian Police Officer accused of sexually assaulting a vulnerable man and woman.

A Grampian Police officer accused of sexually assaulting a vulnerable man and a woman has had the charges against him dropped. George Hall, 49, was due to face trial next week for alleged indecent attacks on two people in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
However, the Crown Office said proceedings would not continue after "careful consideration of all of the facts".
Mr Hall had previously denied the charges at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

In light of yesterday's events it is probably best that Hollie's Army leave the leafleting to the professionals and anyone who is in Aberdeen should try to engage on an individual basis with people in pubs, shopping centres, bingo halls etc. By all means refer to the George Hall case and also the indecent assault of a ten year old girl in Torry last week.

I will remind you of some of the steps taken to attempt to thwart our campaign.

1. Robert Green arrested in February on day he intended to launch his campaign.
2. Robert's bail conditions prevent him entering the constituency.
3. SACL excluded from hustings by both BBC and the other candidates.
4. Media blackout other than to report the fact that Robert is standing.
5. A visit to our office by Grampian Police officers.

I have also just received information that at a briefing for people working at polling stations etc held last night, a warning was issued to expect trouble from SACL !

All of these efforts have failed and the Hollie Greig message has been delivered to the people of Aberdeen South.

We need to be prepared for a final effort by our enemies to derail us today. This may involve arresting either members of Hollie's Army or employees of the delivery firm. If this happens please be ready to launch a "Shock & Awe" counter offensive - bombard Grampian Police and Crown Office with phone calls, plaster all over Facebook and post on every newspaper/TV discussion board you can.

We will meet at "The Grill" on Union Street at 10pm on Thursday before making our way to the count at the AECC. All Hollie supporters welcome !
